I used to have a book about the Scholar Dollar system. Along with the description of the system, there were pages of different denominations of bills. I know you are using the checkbook system, but do you know where I could get the dollars? These were a bit larger than a normal dollar bill. I remember one had a hoot owl on it. Thanks, Karen

Hi Kristy-
Thanks for your comment and for letting me know that those links don't work--I will fix them ASAP. I do know Laura, what an amazing teacher and professor! I have never had students run out of space in their checkbooks, even when we skip lines! I also don't necessarily have them write in it every day, we usually add and subtract a few times/week. I can't imagine that you would run out space though! I'll also look through my files and see if I have anything else, do you have specific examples/documents you would like to see?

I love this idea! I've been checking around your blog, and it was funny to learn that you graduated from NW because I grew up in Boyden, IA (about 20 min away) and am now in Houston. I'm guessing you know Laura Heitritter. I just caught up with her when I was home this summer.
Anyways, I was wondering if the kids ever run out of room in their donated registers. Do you add more sheets like the examples you have? Also, some of the files are no longer available. If you're willing to share, I'd love to get more ideas.
